The Dial

The main difference between the replica TAG Heuer Autavia Jack Heuer and the other models is the dial color - in this case, it's silver and black subdials. Although I have only prepared branded images of this watch for this article, I have handled and worn this watch a few times and can attest to its desirability. One thing I would like to mention is that unlike how the image appears to depict the hands, the dial is largely as legible as the Autavia with the black dial, if I remember correctly.


The silver dial contrasts with the black subdial, creating a very authentic panda dial look that I happen to find attractive. In my opinion, it's actually more attractive than the non-limited Autavia - but really, they're both good-looking timepieces.


The Bezel

The Jack Heuer Edition replica replaces the Rindt-inspired 12-hour bezel with a minutes/hours (MH) bezel with 12-hour markers and elapsed time scale. The result is beautiful and while I prefer the look of the 2017 Autavia, I like the changes TAG has made for the Jack Heuer Special Edition. The addition of the MH bezel is a nice reflection of the great design of the Autavia when it first debuted in 1962.

The Caseback

The Jack Heuer model features a sturdy caseback engraved with the Jack family seal and signature. It also reads "Jack Heuer 85th Birthday Edition" replica as if you needed to attend his birthday party to get one. The polished steel case is 42mm wide, a little thicker, and water resistant to 100m. The movement Heuer 02 is a self-winding movement with a column wheel and a 12-hour chronograph system based on a vertical clutch.
